Bugzilla is the de-facto standard for issue tracking software today. It is actively developed by the Mozilla team and is in widespread use throughough both the open- and closed-source worlds. Bugzilla is in use by companies such as RedHat and the Gnome foundation to manage their projects. Features include advanced reporting, patch viewing, full text searching, bug charting, etc. The user interface is fully customizable by editing simple templates. Features are still being added as the project is still in active development, but the code base has proven stable even under heavy use.
